What is a client portal, in plain English?
A private part of your website where each client logs in and sees only their own things: contract, documents, invoices, bookings, progress and messages. You get an admin side to run it. Ours is at portal.yektad.com and every YektaD client uses it.
Do my clients need to install anything?
No. It works in the browser on any phone or laptop. They sign in with their email, Google or Apple account and they are in.
Is it the same as custom software?
It is a focused kind of custom software. A portal is a smaller, faster build than a full app, because the pieces are well understood: sign-in, documents, invoices, bookings, messages and an admin dashboard. We build only the pieces you need.
Can it take payments and send invoices?
Yes. It can show invoices, take card payments through a provider such as Stripe, and connect to the invoicing or booking tools you already use.
Is it secure?
Sign-in runs through a dedicated authentication service, each client can only ever see their own data, everything travels encrypted, and it lives on your own domain. We build it the same way we built our own.
What does it cost and how long does it take?
It is scoped to what you need and quoted in writing after a free call. A simple portal is a much smaller job than a full app, and is usually measured in weeks, not months.
