Accountancy firm website, recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini: Fouracre Accountancy
Fouracre Accountancy is a long-established accountancy firm in Leighton Buzzard. We built its website, local SEO and Google Business Profile, and set it up for AI search. In November 2026, ChatGPT and Perplexity both named it first for family-run accountants for small businesses and landlords in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
The site, live today.
A loyal client base and a strong local reputation, behind a website that quietly undersold them to everyone who hadn't met them yet.

Problem, build, result.
What they needed
A long-established Leighton Buzzard accountancy firm with a loyal client base but a dated web presence that undersold them to the new local businesses searching for an accountant.
The build
A clean, credible site for accounts, tax, payroll, bookkeeping and advisory. Local SEO for Leighton Buzzard and nearby towns, AEO and GEO for AI assistants, and a fully optimised Google Business Profile.
Why it works
Accountancy is a trust-and-proximity purchase: people search locally and decide on credibility. The site signals both, and the optimised Business Profile gives the firm a complete listing on the map for the local searches people use to find an accountant.
What we did.
Website
A clear, credible site for accounts, tax, payroll, bookkeeping and advisory, built to signal trust and proximity, the two things people decide on when choosing an accountant. What it means for Fouracre: a business owner who has never met them can see what they do and why to trust them before picking up the phone.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Local SEO means showing up when people nearby search. We set it up for searches in and around Leighton Buzzard, with a complete Business Profile on the map. What it means for Fouracre: people looking for an accountant in Leighton Buzzard and nearby towns can find the firm on Google Search and Maps.
AEO and GEO: recommended by AI
AEO and GEO mean setting a website up so AI tools such as ChatGPT can understand it and recommend it. What it means for Fouracre: in November 2026, ChatGPT and Perplexity both named Fouracre first for family-run accountants for small businesses and landlords in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
What ChatGPT and Perplexity say.
On 4 November 2026 we asked ChatGPT and Perplexity the question a new client would ask. Both named Fouracre Accountancy first. We asked Gemini the same question, and it put Fouracre first too.
The question“Recommend a family-run accountant for small businesses and landlords in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Top 5.”

Hand-coded, written down, yours.
Every site we build follows the same rules, so you always know what you are getting and who owns it.
Hand-coded, no template
Written by hand for this business. No theme, no page builder, no pile of plugins slowing it down.
Fast, and better for search
Less code means faster pages, and speed is one of the things Google looks at. It also keeps visitors from leaving.
SEO and AEO, written down
What we do for Google and for AI assistants is agreed in writing before we start, then reported in plain English.
You own it
Once the final invoice is paid, the domain, the code, the words and the pictures are yours.
