Local SEO (search engine optimisation) is everything that helps people nearby find you when they search for what you do in your area: your website, your Google Business Profile (the listing that shows on Google Maps), your reviews and pages that answer their questions. Local is our monthly plan that does this for small local businesses, from £350 a month.

AEO (answer engine optimisation) means writing your pages so search engines and voice assistants can lift a clear answer from them. GEO (generative engine optimisation) means making your business easy for AI tools such as ChatGPT to find, understand and name. Local includes both, plus a check every quarter of how AI tools describe your business. Nobody can guarantee an AI mention.

You qualify if you have one location (or one main town plus nearby towns), up to 5 people including you, local customers rather than an online shop or national clients, and up to 6 main services. Your website size does not matter: the pages we add every month never affect whether you qualify. We confirm it after a free website check or a 20-minute call. Nobody buys Local without one.

Local fits up to 6 main services. The website we build at the start is up to 5 pages for up to 3 services (£495), or up to 15 pages for 4 to 6 services (£750), with one page per service. If you have many service lines, several locations or cities, more than 5 people, an online shop, national services or big-name competitors, our Growth plan is the better fit. If it is in good shape, the start fee is £295: we optimise your Google Business Profile, set up Google Analytics and make basic SEO fixes on up to 10 pages. If it has broken links, many pages or the wrong set-up, we quote after the free website check, from £495. If YektaD built it, there is no start fee.

Usually more calls and clicks within around 3 months, and ranking gains over around 4 to 6 months. AI tools can pick things up faster. Nothing is guaranteed, and we never promise rankings, AI mentions or results.

Each plan has a minimum term of 3, 6 or 12 months. After that it continues month to month, and you can stop with 30 days' written notice. If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining months are due, or you can buy the website out at its normal price minus what you have already paid.

A website we build in a package is hosted in YektaD's account until the minimum term and any outstanding invoices are paid. Then the website, its code and the pages transfer to you. Pages and content we create during the plan become yours once the minimum term is paid. A website you already own stays yours, and we only edit it.

You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay), Klarna or bank transfer, processed by Stripe. The 3-month plan is paid up front (£1,350) and can be spread with Klarna. The 6- and 12-month plans are paid monthly by card, with the last month paid at the start. The start fee is paid before work begins.

Each month a report appears in your client portal showing how people found you, where they came from and what they did. Every quarter we also check how AI tools such as ChatGPT describe your business.

Yes, that is where it helps most. Google decides local results on three things: how relevant you are to the search, how close you are to the person searching, and how well known you are, which includes reviews and activity. Local works on the first and the last: a clear page for each of your services, steady reviews and an active Google Business Profile. Many small competitors have thin websites and few reviews, so this is how a small business stands out. We never promise a position.

Partly, and we will always be honest about which part. People who are in your area, such as visitors searching "near me", can find you because Google uses where they are. People who search your town by name from anywhere, for example "Pilates Rustington" from London, can find you through your town and service pages. Someone in London searching just "Pilates" will mostly see businesses near them, because Google shows what is close to the person searching, and nobody can honestly promise to change that.
